WHAT IS THE PPL?

The Pittsburgh Premier League is a high-stakes team circuit for Street Fighter 6, running under the Pittsburgh Pro Series umbrella at Sanctum Esports Cafe. Spanning six months of bi-weekly competition, the league shifts the focus from individual glory to squad-based strategy, challenging teams of three to prove their dominance through a unique, pro-style Home/Away counter-pick format.

Teams battle through a double round-robin regular season, culminating in a First-to-70 Grand Finale with a $1,000 prize pool split evenly among the winning team's three members.

HOW IT WORKS

01
Team Structure

Each team consists of exactly 3 players. Teams are assembled through a Draft Pool — once drafted, players are committed for the full 6-month season.

02
Match Format

Three sets per league night: Vanguard (FT2 – 10pts), Center (FT2 – 10pts), Anchor (FT3 – 20pts). Tie-breaker (FT1 – 5pts) if needed. Winner stays; loser may switch character.

03
Counter-Pick System

Home team declares their 3-player lineup and characters 15 minutes before match. Away team then counter-picks their assignments. The Anchor player cannot serve in that role two consecutive nights.
